Undergraduate Applicant Day

What is an applicant day?

An applicant day is the best way for you to find out further information about University College Birmingham and the course you have applied for.

Have a look below to gain insight into the activities that you can take part in, on the day.

Practical activities

Whether it’s creating your own mocktail, taking part in a virtual reality task or carrying out a skin analysis treatment; our practical activities will give you first-hand experience of your potential future career!

Meet new friends and future classmates

We know that it can be a little daunting starting a new place of education, and we want you to feel as comfortable as possible. This is why the applicant day is the best way to meet your future classmates and make new friends, before you even start!

Accommodation The Maltings Outside The Cube

Accommodation Tour

As well as the Campus Tour, you will also have the choice of joining our Student Ambassadors to view our Halls of Residence, The Maltings. Only a short 10-minute walk from our campus, The Maltings could be your new home away from home.

Campus Tour

Although you have applied to study here with us, you may have missed the opportunity to see all of the facilities that we have to offer. If so, no need to worry, as you will have the option to join a Campus Tour, after your 2nd session, ran by our Student Ambassadors.

Support Services

We know that you may still have questions about studying here at University College Birmingham; but our Support Services will be here to help with any concerns. You will be able to speak with Student Finance, Disability Support, Hired@UCB and more.

Meet the Guild

If you are thinking about joining a society, sports club or even starting up your own campaign, then make sure to stop by and meet your Guild of Students. You will be able to find out about our clubs, ranging from Cheerleading, Rugby, Netball and Football, to Bakery, Disability, Queer and Drama.
