Jet2 and Genting join dozens of top firms at UCB Employer Extravaganza

Genting UK, Jet2.com and Mitchells & Butlers are among the top industry firms coming to meet students at University College Birmingham's annual careers fair this autumn.

UCB's Employer Extravaganza on Wednesday 6 November will welcome dozens of leading employers from sectors ranging from hospitality, events and catering to sports, education and social care.

Also among those attending will be The Prince's Trust, Birmingham City Football Club, Exclusive Collection (formerly Exclusive Hotels and Venues), Nando's, Tesco, The Co-operative Childcare, Diabetes UK, The Royal Household, Royal Air Force and many more.

Students will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from each organisation and find out more about part-time or full-time jobs, potential placements and graduate opportunities.

The event, which will be held at UCB's McIntyre House from 12-3pm, is open to all further and higher education students at the University, while invitations will also be sent out to alumni.

Employer Engagement and Alumni Support Officer Yasmine Payne said: "Students will have the chance to talk to future employers who will be promoting different types of jobs.

"It will give students the perfect opportunity to network and promote themselves to those within the industry they wish to work in."
