Health Taster Programme

Our Health Taster Programme, funded by the West Midlands Combined Authority, is a great opportunity to experience what it’s like studying health at university and see if it’s the next step for you.

The sessions will be fun, theoretical and practical with a chance to develop some new skills. Our teaching approaches will be aimed at supporting and promoting social learning.

Length of course: 7 weeks
Days: Predominantly online delivery, plus one attendance day
Delivery: Blended learning (access to online sessions to suit your schedule)
On-campus location: McIntyre House, 2 Holland Street, Birmingham, B3 1PW

  • Integrated approach to healthcare

Eligibility

  • Aged 19 years age or over by 31 August 2022
  • Employed within a basic healthcare role
  • Employed or a resident within the West Midlands
  • Attendance on the programme supported by the employer
