There's still time to apply for September
We still have some availability on our college courses – but hurry! Our courses fill up quickly so be quick to avoid disappointment.
Please note that we are no longer taking applications for our sixth form courses, however there is still time to apply for a college course.
Not finalised your enrolment yet?
We are open for enrolment on college courses on the following days:
- Monday 9 September – Friday 13 September, 10am – 2pm
Welcome information for new students
If you have already applied and would like to know more about your induction, check out the welcome information for new students.
What do I need to bring with me?
If you are aged between 16 and 18, please bring the following:
- Evidence of all of your current qualifications, including your GCSE results papers - or those showing your predicted grades. We can complete your enrolment without this information, but we will need to see proof of your achieved grades to confirm your level of study. Please ensure that you have checked that you meet your course's entry requirements.
- Proof of identity - Passport or Full Birth Certificate
If you are aged 19 and over, please bring the following:
- Evidence of all of your current qualifications, including your GCSE results papers - or those showing your predicted grades. We can complete your enrolment without this information, but we will need to see proof of your achieved grades to confirm your level of study.
- Proof of identity
- Proof of household income, including evidence of any benefits you claim, if applicable.
- Your chosen method for paying your tuition fees – if applicable.
If you are paying your own fees, you can either pay in full at enrolment, or payment can be made in 4 equal instalments: instalments are due by the end of October, January, March and May.
Please check our fees and tuition page to see a full list of categories of people who are not expected to pay their tuition fees. If you do not fall into one of the listed categories, you will need to pay the tuition fees for your course.
Access our course fees document for a full list of college tuition fees.
If you are aged 19 and over on the first day of your course and are expected to pay for your fees, you may qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan. This is a non-means-tested loan available from the UK Government to pay the tuition fees of full level 3 qualifications (course exclusions apply**). The loan is paid directly to UCB to cover the cost of your tuition and does not have to be repaid until your income is over a certain amount (the ‘threshold’ amount). For more information on the Advanced Learner Loan, please visit www.gov.uk/advanced-learner-loan.
