UCB has ranked highly in the latest International Student Barometer (ISB) survey.

The results reveal that in 2014/15 UCB was ranked in the top 20 universities in the world for careers and employability, earning money during studies, work experience and for having good teachers.

The university was also ranked in the top 10 for these four areas within the UK, as well as language support and performance feedback. UCB also features in the top 20 in the UK in a further 25 categories, which 17 Russell Group universities also took part in.

The particularly high scores received in these areas reflect UCB’s position as a leading industry-focused institution, with the university being ranked number one in the UK and the world for ‘earning money’.

The highly positive results in the 2014/15 ISB survey serve as a measure for the great progress the University has made in the reception, welcome, support and learning experience of our students. Nevertheless, we will not be complacent. We will continue to put more resources into the student experience so that we are ranked even higher in the UK and across the world next year.

Melvyn Pryer, Director of the International Student Centre at UCB

The survey was based upon feedback from 164,863 students from 54 UK universities and 155 international universities covering 18 countries. The ranking results for UCB reflect the outstanding international student experience we offer.
