Profile
After graduating, I worked overseas as an apprenticeship assessor, supporting learners with a variety of qualifications (customer service, travel services, teaching assistant) in workplaces across Holland, France and Spain.
In 2012 I completed a PGCE in physics and went on to teach GCSE Chemistry, Physics and Maths at secondary schools in the UK. More recently, I coached and developed maths/English tutors across the UK for a national training provider, before joining University College Birmingham in 2019.
At University College Birmingham, I am responsible for designing and implementing a maths delivery plan to meet the needs of apprentices across all sectors, while providing additional support to ensure they complete their Functional Skills elements in maths and ICT. I am passionate about learning technologies and keen to promote the use of virtual classroom delivery.
