Sarah Quimby

Before coming to UCB, I had a wide and varied career in education, starting as a SEN Learning Support Assistant in a challenging secondary school. This was straight after completing my BA and MA History at the University of Leicester. I was in this role for a number of years, supporting students in both vocational and academic subjects. I then trained as a secondary teacher of history and taught a range of subjects including English and childcare. Also, I set up an English intervention programme at my previous setting in order for students to improve their skills. However, learning support is my passion and I have decided to return to being in a supportive role.
