Unitemps is University College Birmingham’s recruitment agency for employers wishing to recruit students, graduates and post graduates in the local area. We cover part-time, full-time, temporary or permanent recruitment, anything from a couple of hours cover to full-time work during the summer holidays. We provide an exemplary and speedy service to those wishing to access our student and alumni talent.

Hired Connect

We offer a free service for employers seeking to recruit students. Whether recruiting for full-time, part-time, casual, seasonal staff or graduate programmes, Hired can help.

Register your requirements with Hired Connect facility and once authorised, vacancies can be advertised on our intranet Jobshop and if you contact Hired, we can promote these vacancies on our campus information screens. This service enables students to search for suitable vacancies all year round.

Advertisements will remain on Hired Connect for as long as you require, but you will need to contact us again to re-run any internal information screen campaigns.

Employer presentations

Contact Hired if you would like to make a presentation about your company to our students. We arrange for a wide variety of employer presentations throughout the academic year, which are widely advertised across our campuses. Full audio/visual facilities are available.

Careers Fair

Hired arranges a number of employer recruitment fairs throughout the year. Our main university-wide events take place in November and March each year. Employers can exhibit at no charge, and refreshments are provided.

Employer drop-in sessions

Our drop-in sessions enable employers to mix with our students in an informal environment. We provide a table and space for your display stand in areas with high student footfall, such as our Hired centre, the student cafés or the main reception, where you can meet and talk to students.
