Lecturer

Steph has studied the education sector in depth and brings a wealth of expertise to our Access to Higher Education Diploma.

Completing an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education Studies, Steph gained experience within schools, day nurseries and children's centres before acquiring Early Years Teacher Status, leading to employment as a Foundation Stage teacher at a primary school.

Having subsequently taught in the further education sector, she then completed a Diploma in Education and Training alongside a Master's in Education, and has since commenced study towards a professional Doctorate in Education.

So how does Steph feel this course will support those looking to take their first steps in the education sector?

“The Access to Higher Education Diploma is a brilliant way of meeting other mature students from various backgrounds who are all taking a big step to progress into a career in education,” said Steph.

“This programme will support you in building transferable skills such as essay writing, critical thinking and IT skills to forge your pathway into higher education. You will have a range of tutors who have all worked within the education sector for many years, supporting you and building your confidence along your educational journey.

“If you’re looking for a course that supports you in building your own unique story towards the career of your dreams, this is the one for you.”
