Mental health & well-being events at UCB

Read time: approx 1 mins

We all experience positive or negative forms of mental health, which can affect our personal and professional performances, and therefore require understanding and support.

On Friday 19th September, from 1pm - 4pm in lecture theatre 307, students are invited to experience the 'All Systems Go' production, be a part of 300 Voices, and to join in the discussion that will follow.

After the 15 minute performance there will be a ‘hot seating’ and ‘forum theatre’ to explore the issues further. As the audience, you will have the opportunity to speak with the characters and find out more about them, their backgrounds, and experiences, before exploring with them how they can prevent the events of that one day happening in the future.  The Theatre will be open at 1.00pm for registration and will commence at 1.30pm.

World Mental Health Day will be take place on 10th October, focusing on living with schizophrenia. You can find out more about this here.
