BPS-accredited courses

Our psychology courses are accredited by The British Psychological Society (BPS). We have strong employment prospects supported by links with psychology professionals and our degrees lead to careers across education, health, wellbeing, research, business and beyond.

No traditional exams

There are no traditional exams on our psychology courses. Instead, you will demonstrate your knowledge through coursework, applied projects and practical activities, taught in our outstanding facilties.

You will learn from experienced criminologists, psychologists and lecturers with professional backgrounds, including policing, and explore contemporary issues through simulations, workshops, fieldwork, guest lectures and research projects. We have also invested £300 million in facilities across the university, including specialist psychology labs.

Flexible study routes

As part of our psychology provision, we offer specialist pathways in education, health, and sport and exercise alongside our core psychology degree. We also have foundation year routes available for students who do not yet meet the entry requirements for direct entry onto a degree.

£6,000 to help fund your studies

That's why eligible UK full-time undergraduate students starting in September 2026 will receive £6,000 to help cover living costs and you don't have to pay it back. You can spend less time thinking about money and more time making the most of your experience.
