Enrolment information for A-levels at University College Birmingham Sixth Form Centre
GCSE Results Day is on Thursday 20 August. A few of you may understandably be a little nervous, but there is also a lot of excitement as you find out your results. We wish you all the very best of luck! This is also the day you need to accept your place at UCB Sixth Form. If you haven't received an offer but are now considering studying A-levels with us, come and see us in person.
Sixth Form Centre is located at Camden House West, Parade, B1 3PY.

I have a conditional offer – what do I do?
You'll need to complete your enrolment online.
Before Results Day, we will send you a link to complete your online registration.
On Results Day, you must upload your results and a photo for your student ID card (make sure this a professional-looking image). You can view a video tutorial explaining how to upload your results here.
Results can be uploaded from 8.30am. Once we have received your results and photo, we will email you to confirm your place or contact you if there are any issues. Please ensure you have completed your enrolment by 11.30am, as places may be offered to other students after this time.
If you have achieved the required grades and met the conditions of your offer, there is no need to visit us in person – go and celebrate your results and enjoy the moment!
Frequently asked questions
I have got an offer but didn’t quite get the right grades – what shall I do?
Don’t worry! Come and see us in person between 10am and 11.30am on Results Day - Thursday 20 August. We may still be able to offer you a course at UCB Sixth Form or suggest an alternative programme of study.
You can also come and see us on Thursday afternoon or on Friday but some courses may be full by then. Please bring a copy of your results and your ID.
I have got an offer but I want to change my subjects.
That’s fine – lots of students change their subjects at this point. Come and see us in person between 10am and 11.30am on Results Day - Thursday 20 August. We still have spaces on some courses and might be able to offer you a course at UCB Sixth Form or suggest an alternative programme of study. You can also come and see us on Thursday afternoon or on Friday, but some courses may be full by then. Please bring a copy of your results and your ID.
I am on your waiting list, and I’ve met the entry requirements - what shall I do?
If you have met the entry requirements for UCB Sixth Form (or you’re nearly there), come and see us between 11.30am and 3pm on Results Day - Thursday 20 August or Friday 21 August. Bring your results and some ID (passport or birth certificate). Please do not attend before this time, as we will be dealing with our early applicants. We can then see if we can offer you a course or suggest an alternative.
I don’t have a conditional offer and I’m not on a waiting list – can I still apply?
If you haven’t applied, come and see us on Results Day - Thursday 20 August between 11.30am and 3pm, or during Friday 21 August enrolment. There might still be A-level courses for you, or we can suggest different college courses. Bring your results and your ID, and we will help you choose a course that’s right for you.
