Assignment assistance

All students at University College Birmingham can receive support from our expert staff, no matter what level you are studying at or what grades you are achieving.

Our academic librarians are qualified library professionals and subject specialists who can support you with researching your assignments. They deliver sessions in classes and tutorials offering valuable advice on finding information and developing your information searching skills, which will be vital both during and after your studies.

You can book an appointment to see your academic librarian, or you can visit them as and when you require support. You can also email or phone your academic librarian with subject-specific enquiries. See the library portal for more details.

Further study-based help – such as for understanding assignment briefs, planning work and writing style – is also available from staff at our Centre for Academic Skills and English (CASE).
