I originally studied at Sandwell College of Technology. Once I achieved my qualifications, I worked in a variety of establishment such as a five star resort, Rosette standard restaurants to large scale catering through Event catering. During my time in industry I decided to take time out and do a Bachelor of Science Degree, Post Graduate in teaching then finally later whilst being at the University College Birmingham an MA in tourism. During my years at UCB I have done numerous industry updates in establishment such as; Le Manoir, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Hyde Park, Simpsons restaurant, Hambleton Hall, The Ritz London, Heathcoates and The Grosvenor Hotel Chester.
Over the past years whilst being at the University College Birmingham I have taught on Further Education and Higher Education curriculum, in the following subjects: Kitchen productions skills, kitchen and larder skills, pastry, and catering theory.
