Makings of a £30 million pound brand
At just 29, Darcy is the co-founder of Absolute Collagen, a £30 million pound brand that sparked a welness revolution.
Darcy, who made the Sunday Times Beauty Rich List in 2025, and her mother Maxine Laceby started their UK best-seller kitchen table business by combining Maxine’s homemade bone broth recipes with Darcy’s knowledge gained from her food development degree.
Darcy was able to analyse the key component of bone broth, collagen, to understand its benefits.
Absolute Collagen’s success has propelled Darcy onto the Forbes list of 30 entrepreneurs under 30 to watch.
“University College Birmingham allowed me to pursue a degree in something that I am passionate about," she said.
"This, in turn, allowed me to bring the beginnings of Absolute Collagen into the classroom to explore further.”
