Raising the bar for the future
For prospective solicitor Anayiah, the excitement of a new college proved a great incentive to make the move from her old school to UCB.
“I knew that being part of the first cohort to enter the sixth form would mean I would be constantly supported and encouraged to push the limits of my potential,” she said.
“I’ve wanted to study law at university since I was in Year 8, and these subjects coupled with the enthusiasm of teachers at UCB matched my own ambitions.”
After A-levels, Anayiah hopes to complete either a solicitor apprenticeship or a degree in Law at University of Birmingham, and she’s convinced her experiences at sixth form have been the best platform for future success.
“To anyone considering A-levels at UCB I would say: just apply,” she said.
“From my time spent working in class and the library to our end of year outing at Cannon Hill Park with friends and teachers, it’s been such a great environment, and you will make lifelong friends and memories whilst studying for your future.”
