I started my career as a Royal Navy Deputy weapons engineering officer, helping to develop recruits with bespoke training programmes and pastoral support, before turning these skills to lectureship at University College Birmingham.
In my current role, I manage a variety of Access to Higher Education Diploma courses, and I am a previous recipient of a Beacon Award for Teaching and Innovation.
