I’m proud to support students on our Health and Social Care FE course, where I help them discover how rewarding it is to support others in meaningful ways.

My background spans teaching, law, care home management, and management in the voluntary sector. This mix gives me a broad perspective on the challenges and opportunities in care, from frontline delivery to leadership.

I’m driven by a passion to help people become the best versions of themselves. I challenge the misconception that a career in Health and Social Care is for women only - it’s a great option for men too.

What I love most about UCB is the opportunity to inspire students, and they say that my passion for the industry shines through. I tell my students that consistency and discipline will carry you far - they would do well to keep both in mind throughout the course.

Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, and I’m also a fan of classical music and the theatre. My motto for life is “Inspire before I expire.”
