Profile
I qualified as a Nurse in 1997 and since then have held a variety of posts. From staff nurse to ward manager to clinical specialist and service lead.
I retired from full time work in the NHS in 2022 and started lecturing here at University College Birmingham. My last clinical post was as a Clinical Specialist in Stroke, where I was lead for the TIA services as part of the wider Stroke services.
Teaching
I was lead for education in my last clinical department which involved junior Drs, medical students and student nurses as well as the wider multidisciplinary team.
I started at University College Birmingham in the summer of 2023 and I am currently completing my PGcert HE.
