I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Salford in 2005. Subsequently, I spent seven years in retail bookselling, culminating in managing Waterstones Redditch. In May 2013, I joined UCB as a Library Customer Service Assistant and advanced to Library Supervisor the following year. In 2017, I was appointed Subject Librarian for the School of Education, and in 2021, I became the Library Services Manager. As of 2024, I serve as Head of Library Services, in which capacity I was proud to lead the HE/PG library through its transition into Baskerville House for the 2024/25 academic year.
My responsibilities include overseeing all operations within the Library and Resource Centre at UCB across all academic levels. Our two libraries are Baskerville House Library, focused on HE/PG and Summer Row Library, focused on Levels 1-3. I manage a team that consists of our Senior Librarian, Academic Librarians, FE and Sixth Form Librarian, Senior Library Assistants and Library Assistants.
