Early Payment Discount

Get £500 off your tuition fees if you pay before the deadline

Students who choose to pay their tuition fees in full before the stated deadlines will receive a £500 discount on the cost of their tuition fees, if these are paid in full and received into UCB account prior to our EPD deadline. The fee discount will then be applied at your enrolment. This applies to full-time undergraduate or postgraduate courses at the University College Birmingham.

For students starting in September 2025, the deadline is 29 August 2025. For students starting in February 2026, the deadline is 30 January 2026.

Please be advised that it is the student’s responsibility to check the early payment discount deadlines to ensure they complete the necessary payment to gain the offered discount.

Eligibility criteria

You must have received and accepted an offer to study on a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course at University College Birmingham starting in the current or upcoming academic year – part-time courses, distance learning courses or other levels of study are not eligible.
You must have paid 100% of your tuition fees which must be received into UCB account before the EPD deadline as specified above. UCB must receive the payments by the deadlines for you to be awarded the scholarship or discount. The only exception is where you can provide evidence that you made the payment at least two weeks before the deadline, and it is taking longer to arrive into the university’s bank account due to external factors out of your control.

How to apply

No application is required. This scholarship will be awarded automatically to any eligible student who pays their full tuition fee amount before the agreed deadline.
