University College Birmingham has a number of campus buildings, all located within the heart of Birmingham. Each building is sustainable, simple to navigate around, and designed to give you the best possible experience during your studies.
Your learning needs more than just ordinary classrooms. That's why we've invested in a variety of practical training facilities, developed to help you build the essential hands-on skills and experience you'll need in the real world.
If you're looking for additional work experience, our city centre location also means there are a wide variety of placement opportunities right on your doorstep.

Camden House
(Sixth Form Centre)
Parade, Birmingham B1 3PY
Camden House is the home of our dedicated Sixth Form Centre at University College Birmingham. This is where you will spend of your time during your studies with us.
First opened to our A-level students in September 2024 following a £5.5 million redevelopment, this state-of-the-art centre has been designed with you in mind. It features cutting-edge facilities including modern classrooms, science and computer labs and open study spaces.

Science labs
Our Sixth Form Centre is equipped with brand new science labs used by students on our A-level biology, chemistry and physics courses. The labs provide dedicated spaces for you to engage in practical experiments, hands-on learning, and scientific exploration.
Camden House also features a state-of-the-art robotics lab, where students can experience physics in action.




Computer labs
Camden House has a range of computing facilities designed to provide our students with the best possible learning environment. These include teaching labs with high-performance computers and industry standard software used by professionals.
Students on our Computer Science A-level course can also gain valuable experience in our cutting-edge Cyber Security Lab, providing a controlled environment for learning and participating in cyber-related activities.

Study areas
Throughout the Sixth Form Centre, you will find a variety of open study and breakout areas where you can work on group projects, connect with fellow students and teachers, or just take a break.
There is also a dedicated quiet study room, providing the perfect environment for you to focus on independent study and research, as well as access to laptop lockers enabling you to easily borrow laptops for use in the study area.



Café
If you're looking for somewhere to grab a drink, get a bite to eat or take a break while you're on campus, Camden House has its own café area.
Located on the first floor, the café is open to all students at University College Birmingham, providing a great space to eat, meet up and relax.

Summer Row
Birmingham B3 1JB
Located by the busy Colmore business district, Summer Row first opened in 1968 and was previously known as the Birmingham College of Food and Domestic Arts. Within this building you'll find our Food Science and Innovation Suite, along with many other specialist facilities used by our college and higher education students at University College Birmingham.
The building has a café on the fifth floor as well as our popular Cakes & Bakes shop on the ground floor selling products made by students. The building also houses our award-winning Restaurant at Birmingham College of Food.




Food Science and Innovation Suite
Located in Summer Row, our £2 million Food Science and Innovation Suite features a range of specialist analytical equipment used in the dietetic and nutrition industries.
Primarily used by students on our food and chef courses at University College Birmingham, it is also used by our Chemistry A-level students, providing a unique opportunity for you to experience chemistry applications in action.



Summer Row Café
Summer Row has a large café and salad bar which is open to all students at University College Birmingham.
The café is located on the fifth floor and serves a wide range of hot and cold food and drink throughout the day.

McIntyre House
2 Holland Street, Birmingham B3 1PW
Just a couple of minutes' walk away from the Sixth Form Centre, McIntyre House is one of our university buildings made predominantly for use by our higher education students – and where you might study if you choose to progress onto one of our university courses.
If you're studying our Business A-level course, you will have access to University College Birmingham's state-of-the-art Financial Trading Suite located in this building.




Financial Trading Suite
Our Business A-level students have access to the Financial Trading Suite on the third floor of McIntyre House.
Powered by Infront Professional Terminal, the suite features 21 workstations, two large wall screens and a scrolling ticker providing real-time information on global markets.




The Link
65-77 Summer Row, Birmingham B3 1JJ
The Link is located between our Camden House and Summer Row buildings, standing next to the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal.
This building is the home of our psychology labs used by students on our Psychology A-level course. It also houses a number of services including IT and reprographics.




Baskerville House
2 Centenary Square, Birmingham, B1 2ND
Baskerville House is a Grade II-listed building in Centenary Square, sitting next door to the famous Library of Birmingham.
University College Birmingham's own library is open to our sixth form students and is located at Baskerville House, offering you additional quiet space to study on campus. A number of other support services open to our students are based in this building, including the Academic Skills Centre and HIRED, our careers, placements and employability service.

James Cond
Holland Street, Birmingham B3 1QH
A former printworks based in Birmingham's famous Jewellery Quarter, this art deco building has been transformed into our Centre for Sustainable Construction.
Situated next door to Camden House, the James Cond building is used exclusively by students on our construction-related college and university courses at University College Birmingham.



Moss House
3 Holland Street, Birmingham, B3 1QH
Moss House is a university building exclusively for students on undergraduate and postgraduate courses with us at University College Birmingham. You may go on to study here if you choose to continue onto a higher education course with us.
Located next door to McIntyre House, the building holds a variety of further specialist training facilities covering the areas of healthcare and sport.
