How to apply
We know that the college application process can seem a little daunting; however, our Admissions team are here to guide you every step of the way. Find out how you can apply directly with us and get started on your journey with University College Birmingham.
What happens next?
After submitting your application, you might be wondering what happens next. This section outlines the key steps in the process.

1. Your application
College Applicants
You won’t need an interview. Once we receive your application we will contact you by email with a conditional offer of a place. Sometimes we need more information before we make a decision and we will contact you to request this.
Sixth Form Applicants
As part of your application, you will be required to have an interview. Our places fill up quickly, so make sure you attend your interview, as we may not be able to offer you a place without it.

2. Your offer of a place
College Applicants
We aim to make an offer within 10 days of your application. Occasionally, we may need more information before we can make a decision.
Sixth Form Applicants
Once you’ve attended your interview we aim to make you an offer on the day if possible, or within 24 hours. Occasionally, we may need more information before we can confirm a place, so it may take a little longer.

3. Attend an applicant day
Our college applicant days are designed to provide you with an in-depth understanding of your chosen course and the vibrant community you'll be joining.

4. Your enrolment
If you have been offered a place at University College Birmingham you will be sent an online pre-registration email during the summer.
