Graduate Branimir works as a performance analyst in the rail industry, in a role he gained experience of through his time on placement during his degree.
“The Hired team do an exceptional job of equipping you with the tools, guidance and support needed to be successful in applying for a placement. It’s treated as though you’re applying for a full-time job,” he said.
“The process taught me a lot about resilience and how to present myself professionally. My placement experience was instrumental in helping me secure my first full-time role after graduation and gave me the confidence to thrive in a professional environment.”
Branimir felt that the hands-on nature of the course, applying real-world financial scenarios, was essential in helping him to prepare practically as well as theoretically for placement and work.
“The lecturers are brilliant at what they do and play a huge role in making the university experience more enjoyable. They gave me the tools to succeed in finance, but also the confidence to pivot into a more operational role,” he said.
“The support and the practical experiences I gained helped shape my career path and gave me a strong foundation to build on.”
