Profile
I began my career as an Apprentice Baker & Confectioner, and attending UCB (formerly Birmingham College of Food and Domestic Arts) on a day release basis, obtaining credits in City & Guilds basic and advanced qualifications. I worked within the craft bakery sector until joining Brake Brothers Country Choice frozen bakery marketers' as a Technical Representive. After a brief period in flour and cereal sales I returned, part time, to Higher Education to obtain a HND in Food Quality & Manufacture from University College Worcester. I then went to work in quality and technical roles for bakery companies Allied Bakeries, Samworth Brothers and Mission Foods. I taught bakery initially at Northampton College and now teach across Further Education (FE) and Higher Education (HE) bakery courses at UCB. I am currently working towards a BA (hons) in Post Compulsory Education at the University of Wolverhampton.

Bakery and Confectionery (FE). Artisan Bread and Contemporary Bread (HE).
