Academic qualifications

PhD in Retail and Marketing, MSc, BSc (Hons)

"A personal point of pride is completing my PhD in Retail and Marketing, which, combined with my past experience as a Project Manager, allows me to blend theory and real-world insights in my teaching."

I’m passionate about exploring how technology transforms consumer experiences and business strategies. In my teaching role, my goal is to inspire students to think critically and creatively in the digital space, with a special emphasis on the impact marketing can have on small businesses and how digital tools empower them to forge meaningful relationships with their customers and co-create value. I enjoy sharing my passion for marketing and witnessing my students grow in confidence, think critically, and apply creative strategies to solve real-world challenges.

I teach a wide range of Higher Education courses, including International Marketing, International Digital Marketing, Digital Innovation, SEO and Digital Marketing, Digital Marketing and Campaign Planning, and Foundations of Content Production. Before entering academia, I worked as a Project Manager, gaining valuable experience in planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement. This practical background enables me to bring real-world insights into the classroom, blending theory and practice to support students in developing industry-relevant skills.

The most rewarding aspect of my work is hearing from former students who stay connected and share their career achievements. And a personal point of pride is completing my PhD in Retail and Marketing.

I appreciate the vibrancy, diversity, and creativity of the UCB student community. Working with students is a continuous source of inspiration, especially as they develop their understanding and application of marketing concepts in innovative ways. I value their curiosity and ambition, and feel privileged to support them as they take their first steps towards professional and academic success.

My advice to my students is to make the most of every opportunity, ask questions, get involved, and embrace mistakes as important learning experiences. University is a time to explore, build confidence, and connect with others.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing badminton and tennis.
