I have worked in sport for more than 12 years in a number of roles including personal training, strength and conditioning, sports coaching and sports nutrition. Throughout this time, I have progressed through my education with a bachelor's degree in Sports Science, a PGCE in Post-Compulsory Education specialising in Sports Science, and I have completed my Master’s in Exercise and Nutrition Science.
I joined University College Birmingham in 2009 and specialise in sports and exercise science and sports nutrition.
I am programme manager for the Sport, Coaching and Fitness Studies degree and lecture predominantly on the fitness and nutrition modules. I run both the Level 5 Sports Nutrition and Level 6 Nutrition for Performance modules, which are taught across sports programmes. I also lead the Level 6 Research Project for the programme.
