Profile

I started my career within the hospitality and catering industry working abroad in Spain, I then returned home to attend University College Birmingham from 2009 where I achieved an NVQ level 2 and NVQ level 3 in Professional Cookery.

After college I went to work in a luxury 5 star hotel with a 1 Michelin star restaurant near Bath, following this I went to work in a country house hotel in Royal Leamington Spa which also had 3 AA rosettes and 1 Michelin star. I worked my way up through several positions within the kitchen learning techniques and developing my skills as a professional chef.

I joined University College Birmingham in August 2016.

Teaching

I currently teach pastry production to NVQ level 3 students within The Restaurant at The College Of Food. I also teach the RACA apprentices pastry skills as well as coaching the apprentices through their RACA practical examinations
