Following on from this I served as a staff nurse at Great Ormond Street Hospital, enhancing my cultural competence with international patients.

Before joining University College Birmingham, I worked as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse for Looked After Children. In this role, I led supervision sessions, provided emotional well-being support, and chaired the Race Equality and Cultural Heritage Network.
