"I bring specialist nursing and midwifery knowledge to my classes, and am passionate about equipping learners with the skills and values needed to deliver high-quality, person-centred care."

As a former midwife, I bring specialist knowledge of nursing and midwifery principles directly into my lessons, helping students develop safe, evidence-based practical skills alongside a deep understanding of ethical decision-making, duty of care, and how to address health inequalities. My aim is that this real-world grounding enables them to deliver high-quality care and reflect on their practice with confidence.

I teach on our T Level Health and Level 3 CACHE Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care. I’m incredibly proud of all my students. It’s truly rewarding to see them embrace their learning, demonstrate professional values and earn positive feedback when out on placements.

I’m passionate about person-centred care and upholding professional values such as compassion, dignity, respect, and inclusive practice across health and care settings.

I specialise in clinical skills, safeguarding, ethics, health promotion, and preparing students for their placements and future careers.

Outside of work, I enjoy quality time with family and friends, reading, and spending time outdoors.
