"What truly excites me is the chance to empower students with practical skills and strategic thinking that can shape their careers and lives. I value fostering leadership, innovation, and resilience, and enjoy seeing students thrive in dynamic business settings."

My early career focused on roles in education and management, for example, working at the Association of Colleges, where I collaborated with further education institutions and the Department for Education on the integration of new Technical Level (T-Level) qualifications. My professional experience also includes sales and marketing roles, along with working as a Product Advisor for well-known brands such as Kenco, Asda, 7Up, Gillette, and Quorn. I am proud to have earned Chartered Manager status from the Chartered Management Institute.
I value fostering leadership, innovation, and resilience, and enjoy seeing students thrive in dynamic business settings. My teaching focus has always been on helping students develop not only knowledge but also the behaviours and skills that boost their employability and business understanding. There’s a common misconception that leadership is just about giving orders, but in reality, it’s about collaboration, supporting others, and thinking strategically.
I enjoy working with students from diverse backgrounds, and have taught business and marketing professionals in Hong Kong. Witnessing students’ personal and professional growth is deeply rewarding, and I celebrate every success. My approach in the classroom combines a scaffolding method (delivering lessons in segments and reducing support as students master new concepts, skills or material) with active learning techniques and digital tools, in order to ensure that my students are able to connect theory to real-world practice.
Beyond teaching, I enjoy meditation, spending time with my family, and volunteering. I’m exploring breathwork and mindfulness practices, and I love to travel. As well as English, I speak Punjabi and Hindi.
