“The continuous evolution of technology and its ability to solve real-world problems inspires me. I am particularly motivated by the opportunity to apply computing concepts to practical scenarios and to support students in developing the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the industry.”

I teach across Cloud Computing, Object Oriented Programming, Data Analytics and mathematics for computer science, for which I draw upon my expertise in data science and analytics, machine learning and Artificial Intelligence, deep learning, Object Oriented Programming, and mobile app development
My industry background is in computing and software development, supported by a degree in Computer Science and practical experience in developing real-world applications. I have worked on projects such as a Teacher Virtual Assistant and a retail-based application, which have strengthened my skills in programming, problem-solving, and user-focused design.

Additionally, I have experience in machine learning and data analysis, including work on predictive modelling and deep learning projects. This technical expertise, combined with my experience as a computing lecturer, enables me to integrate industry-relevant knowledge and practical examples into my teaching.
My professional and industry experience enables me to deliver teaching that is practical, relevant, and aligned with current industry standards. I incorporate real-world examples, project-based learning, and current technologies into my sessions, helping students develop problem-solving, technical, and employability skills. This approach ensures that students at UCB are better prepared for professional roles in the computing industry.
