"I have extensive industry experience in technical network support, enabling me to integrate  real-world examples of troubleshooting, network configuration, and operational cybersecurity controls into my classroom."

I specialise in network and systems security, artificial intelligence and machine learning for security, digital forensics and incident response, privacy, risk management, cybersecurity governance, and project planning.

I have extensive industry experience in technical network support, enabling me to integrate real-world examples of troubleshooting, network configuration, and operational  cybersecurity controls into my classroom. My expertise ranges from diagnosing complex hardware/software faults to implementing security controls, conducting audits and risk assessments, and enforcing data protection.

I’m a member of the British Computer Society (BCS), Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), and I’m a Microsoft Certified Professional.

I’m inspired by how AI-driven security analytics, resilient network architectures, and secure systems design can be engineered to address emerging threat landscapes. I advocate for a systems-thinking approach to computing - one that emphasises analytical reasoning, architectural design principles, and structured problem-solving, rather than viewing computing solely as tool-based programming.
At UCB, I love the diversity of students’ backgrounds and ambitions. I’m proud each time I’m able to boost my students’ confidence and technical skills, help them to get their first job, or progress to further study.

When I’m not working, I enjoy following new recipes in the kitchen, creative writing, journalling, and carrying out home décor projects.
