"I bring vast experience in electrical installation, design and commissioning, inspection and testing, and maintenance - allowing me to provide my students with deep insight into how theory meets real-life practice."

My students know me as Chris and I teach Electrical Installation here at UCB. My specialist areas cover business electrical science, design, BS7671 inspection and testing, and fault diagnosis.
I bring vast experience in electrical installation, design and commissioning, inspection and testing, and maintenance. My years working in industry allow me to provide my students with deep insight into how theory meets real-life practice.
Among all of my professional achievements, I’m proudest of my teaching. I find it incredibly rewarding to interact with such a diverse group of learners in an organisation dedicated to getting the best out of people. My students say they enjoy the relaxed, inclusive environment that I aim to create in my classroom. I encourage all of my students to put the maximum amount of effort into the course as it really pays off.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing football.
My favourite quote is “knowledge is power”.
