"My industry experience spans operational management across banking, production, and hospitality sectors, as well as curriculum management and youth mentoring in education, which all contribute to my ability to develop students’ communication, leadership, problem-solving, and professional networking skills."

I’m a qualified business educator with professional memberships in AMBA (Association of MBAs) and QTLS (Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills). My specific expertise includes strategic management, entrepreneurship, innovation, international business, the ways in which small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are able to survive and thrive, and women in corporate leadership roles.

I teach Business Management and Business Enterprise at undergraduate and postgraduate (Level 6 and 7) and MBA level, focusing on helping students bridge the gap between theory and real-world practice. My industry experience spans operational management across banking, production, and hospitality sectors, as well as curriculum management and youth mentoring in education, all of which contribute to my ability to develop students’ communication, leadership, problem-solving, and professional networking skills.

I’m motivated by enabling students to achieve their goals - whether that’s landing their dream job or pursuing further studies. I take pride in seeing my former students make economic and social contributions within their communities. On a personal level, one of my greatest achievements was overcoming barriers to complete an MBA and MPhil at the University of Birmingham, and building my career in education.

My students say that I encourage creativity and innovation, and they appreciate how I integrate theory with practical industry examples and the field trip opportunities I offer. I also encourage my students to use all the resources available to them, ask for help, and create a structured plan from the very first week.

Outside of teaching, I’m passionate about youth leadership and mentoring, public speaking, and writing. One of my core beliefs is that your socio-economic and ethnic background doesn’t determine your potential nor your ability to achieve your goals.
