Profile

I am a chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. I am a graduate of Economics and Business Studies and a qualified teacher from the University of Worcester. I have an MSc in Accounting and Finance from Birmingham City University, and I am a graduate manager from the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

I have gained vital industry experience in the field of accounting. As a Chartered Accountant, I worked at Ideals Investment Limited (stock exchange), preparing and analysing financial transactions. I liaised with other departments and external stakeholders to collate the necessary data on time and produce annual reports. This experience I employ in motivating and inspiring students to excel.

Teaching and learning is a job I admire and care so much about. As such, I perform these noble duties with a great deal of professionalism, passion and commitment, and will go the extra mile needed to achieve success. I am committed to ensuring our students enjoy the best of knowledge and experience that University College Birmingham has to offer.

Research interests and scholarly activity

Currently writing a research proposal for a PhD programme.
