"I’ve owned and managed multiple businesses, dealing with everything from setting up shop and financial management to customer acquisition and scaling operations, so when I teach about cash flow, strategy, or risk, I can show my students what this looks like in a real-life business."

I teach on our T-Level Accounting and BTEC Level 3 Business courses, with a particular focus on curriculum design, student-centred learning and bringing theoretical business concepts to life for my students.
I’m a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians, the Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. My specialist interests include financial analysis and accounting practice, entrepreneurship and Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) development, and designing learning experiences that help students grow in confidence and skills.
My background combines nearly two decades of teaching across secondary, further, and higher education with hands-on work in consulting and running my own businesses. I’ve dealt with everything from setting up shop and financial management to customer acquisition and scaling operations, so when I teach about cash flow, strategy, or risk, I can show my students what this looks like in a real-life business.
I’m particularly proud of helping students achieve a 100% A*–C pass rate in their Cambridge O and A Level examinations over five consecutive years and mentoring over 100 students in developing their business ideas - several of whom went on to secure seed funding.
My students enjoy the real-world relevance of my teaching. My lessons are really hands-on, including group tasks, simulations and scenario-based problem-solving, so students are constantly applying their learning.
