"It's incredibly rewarding to witness the spark of passion in students' eyes, and to watch their excitement as they master new skills and produce work they can be proud of."

I bring over 12 years of experience in bridal hair and makeup, alongside expertise in fashion hair and makeup, wig styling, postiche creation, and special effects makeup. My career has spanned bridal work, fashion shoots, and runway shows for designers, jewellery brands, and hair salons. I’ve had the thrill of seeing my work featured on television and YouTube adverts for a well-known jewellery company.

What truly motivates me within the bridal industry is the opportunity to help people feel beautiful, confident, and at ease on what is often one of the most important days of their lives. And in my teaching role, it’s incredibly rewarding to witness the spark of passion in students’ eyes and to watch their excitement as they master new skills and produce work that they can be proud of.

One of my greatest joys is seeing my students graduate after putting in years of hard work. I encourage my students to make full use of all the support and resources available during their time at university - and to make as many connections as possible, as you never know how useful these will prove after you graduate.

Having studied at UCB myself, I’m delighted to be teaching at the place that inspired me and taught me so much. I also really enjoy being part of the Creative Industries team, as everyone is so supportive.

Outside of work, I’m a passionate fan of music and films. My tastes are eclectic, from a love of Disney and the Lord of the Rings to grooving to heavy metal and rock music. Travel is another of my passions, whether exploring the UK or venturing overseas.

I live by the belief that you gain strength, courage, and confidence by facing your fears head-on - every challenge that you overcome proves you can handle what’s coming next.
