Six students from Further Education Hair and Beauty courses recently travelled to Southampton docks to visit the spa facilities on board the cruise ship Ruby Princess.
Four Beauty Therapy and two Hairdressing students boarded the luxury liner with lecturer Kirsty Tudor and were given a tour of the ship before being shown around the Ruby Princess’ spa. The facilities are owned by Steiner Leisure Limited, a company renowned for operating spas at sea and have spa facilities on over 150 luxury cruise ships.

They will be working in Steiner’s sea spas when they complete their course and will start their training at the end of August this year.
Steiner’s Onboard Spas employ over 2,000 spa, salon and fitness. They invest heavily in training and recruiting and have multiple training centres and academies in both Europe and Asia.
