Robin Dutton, Director of Quality Systems at UCB, said the accolade, which follows on from UCB winning Most Innovative Application of the standard in 2015, was testament to the University’s ongoing commitment to providing the highest levels of service.
“We are a long-established member of the Hospitality Assured community and to be recognised for leading the way is a very proud moment, especially in the year the Institute is celebrating its 20th anniversary,” said Robin, who was joined at the awards by Dean of the College of Food Neil Rippington.
“We work hard to ensure everything from customer service to employee engagement is the very best it can be and we will continue to build on this by remaining innovative and exploring opportunities.”
The Institute of Hospitality awards are a key event in the industry calendar and are a platform for networking with some of the finest hospitality professionals over a spectacular three-course dinner.
As well as Hospitality Assured winners, awards are presented for Outstanding Contribution to the Industry Award, Best Graduate Scheme Winner, Best Student Placement Winner and Talent Development Team of the Year Winner.
