UCB has been acknowledged as a College of Excellence by luxury spa Ragdale Hall.
To be granted this title, the university had to meet a wide range of criteria that included having high institutional standards, establish a good professional relationship with the spa and have a high calibre of beauty and spa students who want to succeed within the industry.
For meeting all of their detailed criteria, Ragdale Hall agrees to deliver careers presentations and advise UCB students about careers within the spa industry. They will also hold a College of Excellence open day at their Leicestershire-based spa to give students the opportunity to meet their staff and experience and watch treatment demonstrations.
In addition to this, every year they will offer five days guaranteed work placement for two UCB spa and beauty students.
