The Business School at University College Birmingham is delighted to announce it has attained full membership of the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS).
As the voice of the UK’s business and management education sector, CABS supports its members to maintain world-class standards of teaching, research, and enterprise engagement.
With a membership consisting of more than 120 leading business schools and higher education providers in the UK and around the world, alongside affiliated stakeholders and members in the corporate sector, they advocate on behalf of members and students, while helping to inform government policy.
In becoming part of the Association, University College Birmingham reaffirms its commitment to providing the best possible higher education experience, allowing students to enter the workplace with the knowledge that their degree will be tailored to real-world practices.
Membership allows students to access a range of benefits including knowledge sharing and the latest research, while the School stays up-to-date with best practice in teaching, leadership, and trends.
Professor Elaine Limond, Vice-Dean of the Business School, said: “Achieving this membership illustrates our commitment to continually improving the student experience, and ensuring our degree programmes are fully aligned with industry needs and professional standards.
“It underlines our commitment to ensuring students are presented the best possible opportunities while studying, and supported to achieve their career goals."
