Studied at Birmingham College of Food full time for 2 years, gaining C&G qualifications in catering, housekeeping and food service; going onto study for a further 2 years’ part-time at Perth College. Working in a number of hotels and restaurants over an 11-year period in France, Scotland and Birmingham. Involved in an array of competitions throughout this time, winning a 2-week stage at a Michelin restaurant as a finalist in the Scottish Food Proms.
Moving into training and assessing in 2000 with a private training provider and Birmingham based college before joining the Apprenticeship team here at UCB in 2018.
