Student Finance England
Student Finance England is the organisation set up by the Government to provide you with money in order to pay for your course and to help you with living costs, whilst you are studying towards your first undergraduate degree.
This means that there is no need to pay any upfront tuition fees to go to university.
For any loans provided by Student Finance England, you won’t be expected to make repayments until April 2026 at the earliest, even if you leave your course early. This is applicable to those starting their course after 1 August 2023. You’ll only start making repayments if your income is over the repayment threshold which is £25,000 a year.
