Digital technology is becoming an ever more essential feature of modern day business. Organisations big and small are finding ways to apply such technology to maximise productivity, while many firms are also increasingly supporting their service users through online and digital channels in place of phone and face-to-face contact. With more and more people needed to implement these digital operations, our Digital Support Technician Apprenticeship will give you the training to help meet this demand.

Working across all sectors and within public, private and voluntary organisations, the broad purpose of a digital support technician is to maximise the effective use of digital office technologies, productivity software, digital information systems, digital communications and collaborative technologies to achieve objectives. You will develop the key IT and customer support skills for such roles with a view to supporting your progress towards higher level responsibilities.

By completing this digital support apprenticeship, you will boost your career prospects with a Level 3 qualification gained on the job, as well as being able to apply for registration with the British Computer Society (BCS), the Chartered Institute for IT, giving you valuable professional recognition within the industry.
