Entry requirements
- We will undertake an assessment and skills scan to ensure this qualification is applicable and suitable.
- You will require GCSE Maths and English at grade 9-4 (grade A*-C). If you do not have the required GCSE grades, you must achieve Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English before the end of the qualification.
- You must be working in a business administration role for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Note: Entry requirements for this apprenticeship may be decided by the employer in conjunction with University College Birmingham.
Key information
Teaching and assessment
This course incorporates delivery of a new Level 3 Business Administrator Standard. There will be a mix of theory and practical assessments at University College Birmingham and in the workplace. Attendance at University College Birmingham will be agreed in advance, with access to our wide range of facilities to enhance your learning experience.
A portfolio contributes to an end-point assessment which comprises several elements. Achievement at the end-point assessment confirms whether the qualification is complete and you have met the standard at pass, merit or distinction.
