Support for those who have lost their job through Covid-19

Need careers support?

In these uncertain times, University College Birmingham would like to offer support to those in the local community who have lost their jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The University has set up a Community Career Hub which gives you access to online careers resources and useful presentation tutorials to support you in exploring the next steps in your career journey.

Presentations include:

  • Updating/creating a CV
  • Creating a cover letter
  • Using LinkedIn
  • Interview techniques


Online career resources include:

  • Preparing for interviews and researching employers
  • Information on relevant training and education courses
  • Occupational, industry and labour market information
  • Discovering new career paths
  • Understanding your skills and strengths
