Richmond House is the University’s main site for further education courses including Youth and Community, Health and Social Care, Sport, Specialist Make-up and Spa, and Hair and Beauty.
There is a gym with a wide range of cardiovascular equipment, resistance machines and free weights. Qualified instructors can advise on training programmes.
The Spa also has hairdressing studios and beauty therapy salons offering a range of treatments and services at reduced prices. Additionally, there are specialist hair and media Make-up studios at Richmond House.
There is a Sports Therapy Clinic where the University’s BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy students offer a variety of services to professional athletes, student-athletes and members of the public. Students are trained to assess and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries and deliver services such as massage and rehabilitation programmes.
University College Birmingham’s Sports Therapy department also offers sports therapy and strength and conditioning support to Student Guild sports teams.
Richmond House is in Newhall Street, close to Summer Row and has its own café.
