Accommodation prices have been frozen for 2020/21.
Cambrian Hall is ideally located only 150 yards from the main university campus and a couple of minutes’ walk from Birmingham’s city centre shops, bars, restaurants, rail and coach stations.
Cambrian Hall is a purpose-built hall of residence providing 247 student places. Popular with mature and overseas students, it is a self-catering hall with each flat accommodating 10 students in single study bedrooms.
All rooms are fully furnished and include:
- Free wifi
- Fitted wardrobe
- Notice boards
- Complimentary Insurance
Each flat contains a well-equipped kitchen and dining room with a fridge-freezer, electric cooker, iron, kettle and microwave. Bathroom facilities are shared between two students and comprise a toilet, hand basin and shower.
A commercial laundry service is also available with washing and drying machines.
Type of accommodation
As all rooms are self-catering, you will need to provide your own cooking utensils and bedding. The majority of flats are mixed sex, typically for 10 residents. All rooms are non-smoking.
Student safety is a top priority therefore the gated, secure site has full-time and part-time hall managers supported by night-time security, and a comprehensive CCTV system and a fob-operated gate.
Mail is delivered to your post box daily and parcels, recorded, registered or special delivery items may be collected from the reception office during opening hours.
There are no parking facilities at Cambrian Hall.
