International and EU Students Orientation information
To help you with your planning, the International Student Centre has put together some useful information. You will receive most of this information, such as your registration and induction dates, by email, so please use this page as an additional source of information.
If you have any questions about your offer, arriving in the UK or your student visa please contact email@example.com.
If you are a new full-time undergraduate student from a European Union country other than the UK, you should have applied to the EU Customer Services Team of the Student Loan Company to establish your eligibility for a loan towards tuition fees.
Your orientation and enrolment will take place during week commencing 21 January 2019 - please register here.
(Returning students must also attend induction. Please use the link below to see your course information, if you are not able to attend your induction, please contact your programme manager.)
The Kick-Start Scheme
The Kick-Start Scheme provides all new, Home (generally speaking, this means UK) and EU students, studying a full-time undergraduate course with £300 at the start of the year. UK students with a household income of below £25,000 will be entitled to a further £500 at the start of semester 2. These funds, which do not need to be paid back, can be used at www.ucb-kickstart.co.uk and also on selected on-campus purchases. Further details about the Kick-Start Scheme can be found here: www.ucb.ac.uk/kickstart
Once you have your student ID card, you will be able to register with our Kick-Start team and get your Kick-Start card. You will then have the opportunity to go online and order course-related items (e.g. kit and uniform).
